Victoria Sutton is an award winning, internationally produced Playwright, Published Author, Theatre Director, Set Designer, and Artistic Director. She began her career on television at the age of 4, and stage soon followed. In her twenties, Victoria began writing for stage and opened her first of many productions in Toronto where her dialogue was pronounced “Masterful” by Vit Wagner of the Toronto Star. Since then, Victoria has been named the winner of: the National Jewish Playwriting Competition in Canada, Winner of Canadian Living Magazine’s fiction competition, has twice been nominated to Canada’s Top 40 Canadians under 40 sponsored by CTV, was named the Artist of the Year by the New Tecumseh and Area Arts Council, and was included in the Canadians To Watch Series. Her portrait was commissioned and toured Canada as a member of this group. In 2005 her play, The Sound of Herring, was picked by Alain Goldschläger of the Holocaust Literature Research Institute at the University of Western Ontario for publication. Victoria has worked as the Editor of Art Talk, an arts based magazine. She has several published and produced plays to her credit. Currently, Victoria is working out of Victory Studio with actors and other artists. She can be contacted through her studio.
